The Quality in Global Outsourcing Award is awarded to a company for the use of technology outsourcing as an effective business practice.
Companies from any industrial domain, such as Business Process Outsourcing, Manufacturing, IT, Biotech, etc., may qualify. Public companies, private companies and educational institutions may qualify. All sizes of companies are eligible including start-ups, small to medium-sized enterprises as well as large corporations.
The Quality in Global Outsourcing Award Criteria establishes the value of the outsourcing project or practice by measuring the following attributes:
- Alignment with and impact on the company's competitiveness.
- Complexity as determined by the number of locations, products, services and the depth of the technology.
- Usage of standard procedures, process maturity as evidenced by documentation
- Impact on economic growth in Georgia as measured by revenue increase or job creation
