Charlie Taylor is a seasoned IT Quality Assurance professional with over 25 years of hands on experience in all aspects of the development life cycle. Mr. Taylor, who has spent the past 13 years exclusively in QA leadership roles, most recently joined Procuri, Inc., as the Vice President of Quality Assurance. Procuri is a privately held company that provides the On Demand Supply Management industry with a nearly perfect record in retaining more than 300 customers of all sizes, industries, geographies and spends categories.
Prior to assuming his role at Procuri, Mr. Taylor was the Vice President of Quality Assurance for ChoicePoint, Inc. During his nearly 9 year tenure, he built a QA organization that supported the corporation's largest and most profitable division, Insurance Services. After being hired as a QA manager of three testers, Mr. Taylor cultivated a dynamic organization of approximately 40 associates, who provided QA testing, test automation, project management, audit support, and Change Management services. Mr. Taylor's career history also includes The Home Depot, Unisys Corporation, Logility, Paysys International, and FFMC.
Notable career achievements for Mr. Taylor include o verseeing the implementation of an enterprise level program that successfully achieved ISO 9001 and TickIT certification within 9 months of inception and being ranked in the top 10% of managers surveyed nationally in the Gallup Workplace Survey.
Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Eastern Kentucky University with double majors in Computer Information Systems and Administrative Management. He maintains professional memberships with the Atlanta Quality Assurance Association (AQAA) and the Kettering Executive Network.
