A. Victor Ferreros, Director of Northwest Regional Data Center, brings over 30 years of professional management and leadership experience in IT organizations to NWRDC. Victor has extensive experience in hands-on management, coordination, service delivery, and customer relationships. Victor is responsible for the data center's over-all vision, strategy and business growth.
Victor previously served as executive officer for ERP at the Connecticut State University. Prior to that, he was an information technology consultant in Canada, Europe and Asia. He has also served as CIO and IT director at the federal, state and local levels of government: He has served as CIO for Martin and Palm Beach Counties in Florida as well as Director of the U.S. Senate Computer Center in Washington, D.C. He was a project manager for the Council of State Governments, Associate Director for State Planning in the State of Kansas and Associate Director for the Office of Management and Budget/State Internal Auditor for the Governor's Office at State of Alaska. Victor earned his bachelor's degree from Ateneo Jesuit University in the Philippines, and his M.P.A.,M.Phil. and Ph.D. of Public Administration from the University of Kansas. He has taught classes in statistics, quantitative methods, information technology, public administration and public policy at Howard University and economics and statistics at the University of the District of Columbia (formerly Federal City College).
