Marci McCarthy is the CEO and co-founder of Executive Alliance, creator and provider of premium leadership recognition programs.
Working with a diverse client base that numbers over thirty and includes CMP Media, Courion, Intellitactics, (ISC)2 and Symantec, Marci is responsible for strategic direction, sales and management at the relationship marketing firm. Now in its fifth year and under her leadership since inception, the Information Security Executive of the Year Awards™ have expanded from a local level to a regional, national and in 2007, global program series. A veteran marketing executive, Marci prizes her strong relationships with senior technology and security executives. Previous to Executive Alliance, she held leadership positions with Lancope, SecureWorks, Deloitte, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Recognized in "Who's Who in the Georgia's Technology Community" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and as a "Woman to Watch" by The BroadSheet, Marci is an active member of the community. She is the past Chairman of the American Diabetes Association Father's Day Council, instituting their flagship program, The Father of the Year Awards. She currently serves on Techbridge's Board of Directors and Executive Committee for their annual fundraiser, the Digital Ball. Marci is also a past president and current member of the board of advisors for Women in Technology (WIT). There she has been responsible for the highly acclaimed Women of the Year in Technology Awards. Other non-profit advisory board service includes The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Sci-Trek.
Marci is an active mentor and is often seen as a guest lecturer or industry panel member at executive track conferences and roundtables on leadership, technology and information security. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Robert.
