Steve L. Scott is a Director of Corporate Information Security for Wachovia. Steve joined Wachovia in 1995 as Director of Corporate Information Security and is responsible for providing leadership for the company's Corporate Information Security Program. In addition, Steve is responsible for defining security policies and architectures, security engineering, network security, system access control, Information Security Operations Centers (ISOC), cyber investigations/forensics, and security technology risk management. His group Corporate Information Security provides corporate oversight and managed services to Wachovia and its subsidiaries.
Steve has over 24 years in the information systems and banking industries with primary emphasis in the last nine years in information security. He is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of High Point University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Management. Steve holds the professional designations of Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
