UNC Charlotte

Karin SteinbrennerKarin Steinbrenner holds the position of Associate Provost for Information Systems and CIO at UNC Charlotte. Her vision is to transform Higher Education Institutions through effective and innovative use of Information Technology for education, research and administration.

In a consulting capacity, she developed strategic IT plans for West Chester University in West Chester PA, the University of St Thomas in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Suffolk University in Boston, MA (2005). She studied electrical engineering at a technical college in Frankfurt Germany, earned the Certificate for Data Processing Professionals from the Data Processing Management Association in 1987, and a Master in Business Administration from Framingham State College in 1993.
