Diane Walker, CSQA, CSTE, CSQE, has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. During her career, she has supported and promoted quality assurance (QA) best practices through a variety of management and technical positions as well as ongoing professional association commitments.
Ms. Walker's extensive business experience incorporates key senior management roles with Fiserv, CompuCredit, McKesson, Equifax and Unisys. These quality assurance positions crossed several fields and information technology specialties, including banking, business and consumer credit intelligence, consumer finance/credit cards, healthcare services, enterprise security and business solutions, outsourcing, and consulting. Her responsibilities have ranged from QA process planning and execution, project management, software programming and development, and staff recruiting and training, to sales and client support, test lab management, compliance and vendor audits, and performance metrics establishment and reporting.
Diane is Vice President of the Atlanta Quality Assurance Association and a 10-year veteran member of its Board of Directors. She holds certifications from the American Society for Quality and the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI). In addition, she has invested significant time and effort to help develop "next-generation" QA practitioners through her mentorship of study programs for the QAI exam and her work as a proctor for QAI exam administration.
Currently the Manager of Quality Assurance for IPS-Sendero, Walker develops and executes the company's quality assurance strategy and process for the 20+ applications within its corporate performance management technology solution. Her responsibilities include day-to-day management of the QA team, as well as the creation of project plans, staffing models, resource plans and risk mitigation strategies.
Diane graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Management.
